Robbie Williams has admitted he once took heroin and will always be tempted to take drugs.
Robbie Williams once tried heroin.
The 'Candy' hitmaker - who has had several stints in rehab to combat drug and alcohol addiction - admits there is a part of him that is ''mad for'' dangerous narcotics and he'll never get over his urges completely.
He said: ''Everything I like is addictive, destructive, or corrosive. Addiction to danger is no stranger to me, it's fashion.
''There's always going to be a part of me that wants to exist in a psychedelic realm. I only did heroin once and never got addicted but there is still a lot of me that is mad for all that.''
While Robbie is still tempted to take drugs, he knows he has to stay away from cocaine because it affects him so badly.
He explained in an interview with The Sun newspaper: ''I can't do coke as my body convulses and it's not pretty. My arm goes numb and my heart is about to give in.''
Though Robbie, 38, is delighted to be a father after wife Ayda Field gave birth to their daughter Theodora 'Teddy' Rose in September, he admits he considered walking out on his marriage because he was so worried about being a parent.
He said: ''When Ayda was first pregnant we'd have a week of me saying, 'I didn't want this. You f***ing wanted this.' But that was just being scared.
''There have been times when I've wanted to run off. I will admit that. I start to think, 'I'm not old enough for this and I'm still a kid myself' but I work it out.''
